Ian Goodenough MP is calling for local residents to show their support, via online petitions, for a number of key projects within the electorate of Moore.
Mr Goodenough is seeking federal funding for the redevelopment of Sorrento Surf Life Saving Club and Heathridge Park, as well as upgrades to HBF Arena.
These three popular recreational venues accommodate thousands of local residents across different sporting codes every week.
“A strong show of community support will help secure funding from all levels of government to enable these important projects to go ahead,” Mr Goodenough said.
“I have been working closely with the Sorrento Surf Life Saving Club, as well as the Ocean Ridge Football, Cricket and Tennis Clubs and clubs based at HBF arena to mobilise the community and ensure we can secure the necessary funding to upgrade these facilities.”
