I need your support to relocate our iconic Ocean Reef War Memorial. 

When I stood to represent our community in 2014, I pledged to always honour our national heritage. 

Eight years ago, our community needed a new memorial where we could honour over a century of service and sacrifice. In Government, I delivered federal funding as part of the Centenary of Anzac, to make that need a reality. 

Anzac Day 2022 will be our community’s final opportunity to gather and reflect at the current site of our Memorial. 

The State Government has previously allocated $6.5 million through Development WA to relocate the Marine Rescue Whitfords and Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club to new facilities within the Ocean Reef Marina redevelopment.

However, there is currently no funding for the RSL Memorial to be relocated to a more prominent and permanent site within the Marina that will facilitate future community memorial services.

I am building community support through this petition to highlight to the Federal Government that this project is essential to our community.

If successful, this funding will ensure that the RSL memorial is quickly restored in line with the construction of the Marina for future generations of our community.
