Ian wants to support young athletes in Moore , which is why he is offering assistance for committed young sports men and women to continue their sporting dreams and compete in competitions around WA, Australia and the world.

If you are aged between 12 and 18 years of age in the same calendar year as your sporting championship, and are competing, officiating or coaching at a state, national or international sporting event, you may be eligible for a $500 Moore Local Sporting Champions Grant.

Being a sporting champion is about so much more than just the final event. Hours of practice and hard work goes into being the best you can be. Competing in these sporting championships can mean sacrifices not only for the young person themselves, but for their family as well.
